Throughout the month of February, RCMA’s child development centers buzzed with energy and enthusiasm as they celebrated Black History Month with a myriad of engaging events and activities. From storytelling sessions that highlighted the achievements and struggles of prominent Black figures to interactive projects that explored African American culture, the centers were vibrant hubs of learning and celebration. Children participated in art projects, parades , and presentations, immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of Black history and heritage. Through events like these , RCMA not only foster s a deeper understanding and appreciation of Black culture but also instills the values of diversity, equality, and inclusion in the hearts and minds of children across the state.
