Our friends at We Care 4U are big heroes! Recently, the nonprofit came to Immokalee to host a long day of activities for RCMA kids and their parents. They saw over 100 people, many who have no access to health care, and provided lead screenings for 39, performed 19 physicals, and 17 dental/fluoride treatments. There was fun for everyone, including face painting, beading, and board games, and Harry Chapin provided food donations, and we even had clothing to give to our families. Thanks to Dr. Cuberos, Dr. Rico, Dr. Rosas and their team for making it such a special day. We care 4U too!
